Situated about 2.5 km from Afandou Village on the eastern side of the island, Afandou is one of the longest beaches in Rhodes, so it hardly ever looks crowded even during the high season. Strewn with sand and fine pebbles in most of its length, it boasts crystalline turquoise waters, which deepen quite abruptly.
